I know this site is very "messy" many of the DNs dont completely correspond with it's acutal DID. There is alot of digit conversion going on...

help please?

What type of trunk are you using? If that is an analog trunk, make sure if it pass through your PBX. Otherwise, that number is a direct line.

Hi,

The TN you've given us is that the set where the caller ends up? If not where does the call ring?

If you have a PRI you could try to enable a DCH trace in LD 96 and have a look how the call comes in. Maybe the caller is router via another switch which forwards the call to your switch to a totally different number.

If you use PRI you can also have a look at the length of the LDN (LD 21). If it is 4 digits the switch will only look at the last 4 digits of the called number. IDC is tricky. Especially the way this 1 is setup (2 digits, 3 digits, etc, etc)

Have you checked with the Telco to make sure what digits they are sending to you. They can swap the digits completely if that is required.

Your first step is to determine how this number is entering your system.

What type of trunk is handling this call?

T-1, PRI, Analog COT, Analog DID, etc.

Once you have the trunk type, you can look at the trunk and route programming to determine how the call is flowing through your system.

I would dial the number and once it starts ringing the phone do a TRAC 0 4577 in LD 80, this will tell you the trunk it came in on
