Got a pc that for some reason has dropped back to 640x480 resolution. Problem is, the bottom of the screen properties dialog box is off the screen, which means I cannot click on OK or Apply button after adjusting back to 800x600.

Have tried pushing the dial;og box up far enough so that just a sliver of the blue bar is visible, and moved the task bar out of the way as well.

Is there anywhere else I can set the resolution when the dialog box is not available?

Cheers,
Brodie

just use tab to get to the ok/apply button, and then press enter...

you might have to have a few trial goes to see how many tabs you need though :)

Normally you should just be able to change the slider and then press enter as the OK button is the default.

Alt-space, M, then use the arrow keys to move the window back onto the screen.

Quite right, JimInks. And thank you.

joemck2004,
Is there a site that you would recomend that has a list of key stroke combinations like the one you gave in this thread. I'm not looking for anything specific but I have had problems searching for these in the past. Thank you and anyone else that may know.
Cheers.

I just boot into "safe" mode, that puts you back at the default video mode. You can then make all your adjustments (it will look ugly, but at least you can see it to fix it). I would then look into WHY the video changed. Could be a conflict upset the drivers, or a sign your vid card is on the way out.
