I've read a lot about the accessibility advantages of clean xhtml/css coding and would like to have a go at viewing / navigating the sites I'm working on using using a screen reader.

Can anyone recommended a screen reader browser that I could try out?

Thanks in advance for any advise

JAWS (from Freedom Scientific) provides a trial where you can try it for a maximum of 30 minutes, then it stops. Aftert your next reboot, you can try another 30 minutes, ad infitum.

JAWS is one of the leading screen readers.

An alternative is to use a text-only browser, such as Lynx.
