screen gradualy goes white after period of use

we use SQL server and a database called "QL", for housing.
User are having a proble mwith the screen becoming white after about 2-3 hours.
This has been reduced for one user by upgrading the memory.
But if we use citrix, and shadow this happens on our screen as well, so is it a local problem or with the SQL??
any help would be appreciated

We publish our desktop on our servers and have a centralized desktop on another server. We've found that at times the users loose connection to the desktop server and the desktop for their sessions goes completely light gray. And they loose all their icons. The programs they have open work fine but if they close them they're done. Im not sure if this is the type of problem your having but this may answer of whats happening.
