screen goes blank when i xstart, ??

Hi i just installed redhat 7.3 , and every time i xstart, i get a screen goes blank, i reistalled it more then once and same thing happens, it seems like a video card , cause i tried a different monitor and same thing,

any help how to fix that, (i'm a beginner at linux)

after booting the system, from the command prompt execute the setup command and try to set the Xconfiguration, it involves few steps like identifying ur monitor, if it doenst then u will have to manually configure the horizontal and vertical synch rates and etc.. if it identifies ur monitor then well and good u just proceed with autodetect if it succeeds then Congrats otherwise manually configure the display settings, reboot and try ur luck.
 
Run the "Xconfigurator" command, and if that doesn't work, try "xf86config" from the shell
