Screen flickers on opening of Form

Does anyone know how to stop the screen from flickering when a form is opened. I am not sure why it happens or when, because it doen't happen in all of my databases. I suspect it may have something to do with the maximize command on the on open event. Anyone?

Hi, Try the Access menu- Tools->Options->Datasheet
Uncheck the option labelled "Show animations"
and try again.

Hi, thanks. I tried your idea, and it still flickers. However, when I changed the docmd to restore, instead of maximize it didn't. So, I guess it is something with the maximize, but still not sure how to stop it and use the maximize command. Thanks Dawn
