Hi,
I have written a small series of web pages and have used an animated gif on it, all written using standard html.

When the page is view in Win 95/98 these gifs display as expected in the places I specified but when someone looks at it using NT the Gifs move to the top of the screen and corrupt the toolbar. From looking at other sites under NT I dont think its not my coding as it happens on them as well, however some other work ok.. has anybody any ideas.

Thanks. [sig][/sig]

I had something similar to this at one time. It turned out that the new IE (4) was no longer compatible with my screen driver. If all the NT pcs you've been testing on have the same screen driver, this may be the problem. What's the URL of your pages that are causing the problem? [sig][/sig]

I'm using Explorer 5.5

One of the many sites it happens on is " where the visiting us messgae moves to the top.

'my' site is run on a local intranet as I wasnt going to publish it till I got it working..

Thanks [sig][/sig]

This happens to me all the time with IE. It started happening as soon as I upgraded to IE5. I believe it's a browser problem. I wouldn't spend too much time trying to fix it at the server. [sig]<p>nick bulka<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= </a><br>Get your technical books at Bulka's Books<br>
