I would like to capture the screen in a BMP, but the captured screen should not go in the clipboard it muss go to the aplication directly.

Can anyone help thanks,

From what I've read it's not an easy task if you want to create your own printing routine. There was a three part series in C++ Builder: Developer's Journal ( ) starting last January (2001). To see the articles you will have to buy a subscription. Not cheap but a good investment, IMHO.

Your best bet is to find a component that will do the printing for you.

To do a dump of a Window you can use the class TBitmap. It works.
