We are having the same issue in a backup situation. Our sig server is down and the follower, MGC does not all IP phones to display their DN's. Although on some phones that are programmed with SCN's, the DN is showing ok.
Its an MGC32 card so I believe it supports up to 128 phones, we have only 84 IP phones total, 76 are registered. 6 of our 1200 series phones will not register to the MGC at all..
All 76 phones that are registered, show "SCR" rather than their MARP DN. We have never seen this before. We are running release 5.5
I had the same issue and my post was to old to add my fix...
I had this error where my phone 1140 were configured using a default ACD Q on Key 00. Let say I had 40 phones with KEY 00 ACD 5230 0 4xxx. As soon as I changed the default Q on my set that was displaying SCR on KEY 01 or 02, it fixed my problem.
It appear that the default ACD Q was creating this issue.
Hope it might help.

"Work is like an adventure. You have to fullfill goal to progress in your journey.
We are currently running on the MC32 card as our sig server is failed (getting replaced tonight). This showed up when our Signaling Server packed it in.
This issue is a global problem on all our phones. "SCR" on MARP (key00) and also "SCN" on other keys ,instead on the DN local. We have a mix of 1110's, 1120e's, 1220's and i2002 phase 1 and phase 2 phones.
I tried to change the programming on one of my keys and then back again but it did not help. I dont think its a phone firmware issue as our 2002 phones have the old B76 firmware
Perhaps it may be an issue with firmware on our MC32 follower Card? Once we get our sig server back up, this should resolve but we have never seen this before and was hoping someone else has.
Another issue is that our 1200 series sets wont register to the MC32 card so there is a common issue with that particular card (NTVQ01BA Release 05)
