I created a report using oracle stored procedure. Later i changed my SP to add the new table columns. I wanted to have those column fields in the same report which i created earlier. I used standard report expert to add new fields, but its not showing the new columns which i added in SP. Is there any way to refresh in Crystal reports or i'll have to create the whole report again. Pl. help me.

Database|Refresh will update the schema used in SCR. Malcolm

I'm not sure about Oracle, but refreshing with SQL Server/Access doesn't always update the report with new fields.

The option I use is "Verify Database"... With luck a message like "Object X has changed, proceed to fix up report?" should appear... Just click ok.

Thanks a lot chris it worked as u said i used verify Database and now its showing the new columns.

Oops. Database|Refresh only gets you a reread of the the data, using the existing database connection and with no attempt to update the schema. Database|Verify forces an update of the schema and a reread of the data, using the existing database connection.
Thanks, Chris. Malcolm
