I am trying to install a hosted solution and need to use HTTPS for the file download. I put a string value in that included HTTPSRVR=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,HTTPSSRVR=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx but I am only getting the http address and not he https address. Can the scope use the HTTPSSRVR or is it something different?
Mike

Only HTTPSRVR can be used in the Scope option string, the phone will use the ip address for both the HTTPSRVR adn HTTPSSRVR value.
Your certificate must configured correctly to get it going.

I am dealing with the same thing. I have the new J169 phones, I can manually configure it and it works. I have added the MCIPADD and HTTPSRVR to the DHCP scope Option 242. It does add it to the phone upon reboot to HTTP only, not HTTPS. It will not pull my 46xx file from my IP Office with just this info. What am I missing? When it boots up it says SIP PROXY LIST IS EMPTY.

Ok, I figured it out. We had to add another line on the DHCP scope for TLSSRVER=. Once we did that, it was able to hit the 44xx file.

You figured it out? It had nothing to do with reading any of the documentation linked here that contained the answer? :)

Reading documents and understand what is in it isn't a engineering thing it seems.
