sco unix 5.0.4 ftp only allows one session then alll tcp apps cannot r

Please help


Running Sco 5.0.4 with all patches....
When a third party starts a ftp session using root username and root passsword after the first session the ftp is unavailable also all tcp ip services also do not respond please help

I will try to set up a user dedicated for the third party purpose . Our lame solution was to reboot. I even lose the ability to use ppp networking when this occurs just normal hyperterminal. Also my syslog fills up with /etc/inetd.conf errors so I think I will contact sco for this problem has just arose and this site has been active for three years with no ftp or tcp/ip problems ....

This only occurs when the third party starts the ftp. When I start a session I have no problems so I can only assume they are not disconnecting or the port from the win prof 2000 computer is locked , but why would that affect my sco unix server. I will get back to you... thanks for the reply
