Is 5.06 considered to stable.

I was thinking of upgraded from 5.05. However my 5.05 implementation is running so well I do not want to touch it.
That is unless there is a really good reason for upgrading ?

Any input

Hi Danny

We have recently set up a 5.0.6 system which is running Throughbred software. There is definitely one difference and that is the console screen attributes for say scoansi are different. In addition we have been running some old binaries going back to Intel 310 xenix days which run quite happily on 5.0.5 but don't on 5.0.6.
I suspect there has been some convergence with unixware 7 where the above is also true.

I have not noticed any significant changes to 5.0.6, other than additional hardware support. I have just recently installed it, so I have not gone over everything yet. I would say to stay at 5.0.5 if everything is running ok. I think it is just another way for SCO to make some more money. For the most part, they should have just put out a patch
