SCO 505 can't ping the server after nic install

I have installed s 3com nic (successfully, no errors) and installed TCP. I get a message at startup "ip_output TCP not licensed. This is open host vs. Open server. I need to be able to ping and ftp some files off this server. Naturally the client needs this today !!!

Any help out there ????

Sorry to tell you but that is the difference between Openserver Host and Openserver Enterprise .... no tcp/ip network support.

Stan's right. If you want to use TCP/IP on this system, you will have to upgrade to and Enterprise system.
