SCO 5.0.5 license warning message

We're telneting to SCO OpenServer 5.0.5. On SCO we have 30 user licenses and we have 43 client Business Basic licenses installed on SCO. When we exceed 30 users, we receive a warning message right after the password is entered. If we click [Enter] it just continues fine. My question is this:
is there anything else that can happen if we have only 30 user licenses for SCO and continue using all Business Basic 42 licenses, or just the nagging message at the login. I tried and logged in 35 times and nothing other than the nagging message after login happend. We are considering changing to Linux later and don't want to spend more money for a short period of time. Thanks. Joseph

Suspect from other discussions that it is a nag only. I've never hit the roof.

But I would suggest a visit to to the A.P. Lawrence unix site for further info. Try a google search for "sco support lawrence" or "pcunix". Lots of info there.

In 5.0.5 it's just a nag, but still a license violation.

In reply to the questions: the login is through Procomm Plus terminal emulator (using Telnet connection) and that means you can login multiple times from the same terminal, under the same login name or from multiple terminals under the same login name or different login names. In regards to "X sessions" I don't know what is that. The logins are just regular users. I definetely understand that is a license violation and we'll act upon it, I just wanted to know if nothing wrong happened (other than the warning message), when we logged in more than 30 times.

Don't recall the location of the discussion, but wherever it was, the issue came up of multiple logins from one terminal and the general consensus was one terminal, one user. You are licensed users, not logins.

The SCO license manager counts the active logins, nor the number of different terminals nor the number of different users.
