SCO 5.0.5 HOSTID

Hi

Does anyone know how to get the HOSTID of a sco server.
I need to infomation for a licence daemon.

On AIX I type in hostid to get the info or hpux I use uname -i, however I dont know how to get this information.

Thanks for the info, but wouldn't that give me the hostname in /etc/hosts or the software details in sco using uname -X ?

"host" is the command
try # man host
 
The information came back to give me the IP address of the machine,

host ukbrpe52
ukbrpe52.joliet.com has address X.X.X.X

It could be I require the system id of the machien rather tahn hostid.
 
OH, ok.
Go into scoadmin, then into the license manager.
The system ID should be at the bottom of the screen.
