SCO 5.0.4 & ServerRAID

Hi

I have problem with SCO 5.0.4 and IBM ServeRAID adapter.
Sometimes contoler reboot itself and sometimes it freeses whole machine I updated firmware and driver to latest version , but it didn't help.
Any ideas ?

try turning OFF caching on the card (sometimes called write behind) and letting SCO make the disk commit choices by itself.

It will slow things down somewhat, but probably not so much it is noticable to users.

I've seen problems where the differing flushing schemes of a RAID card and SCO can cause problems like you are seeing. Pat Welch, UBB Computer Services

It is possible to turn it off on SCO side ?
Performance is the case.
