SCNIPOffice
IS-IT--Management
Hi,
We have five IPO 500v2 running 6.0(14) linked in a mesh network configuration with centralized VM Pro. I need to have hunt groups configured as a collective call waiting group with member extensions in each office.
I have setup a test group that receives calls via an incoming call route to the hunt group. When I add extensions from other IP offices in the SCN and ring the group, the following odd behavior appears to happen as a result of that call:
Call from Site A -> site B, C, D, E
Call from Site B -> site A, C, D, E
Call from Site C -> site A, B, D, E
...etc.
The original call coming into the DID on site A is instantly duplicated as originating from all of the other systems causing a slew of calls to appear from that one call.
It's as if the remote IPO systems see the calls as being dialed directly into them and then route the call back to site A.
If I switch to a star configuration, this issue goes away.
Thoughts?
