Hey guys,

I've got 2 IPO500s(4.1) linked by a T1 with SCN enabled and working. At the present there is only a PRI going into the host system. Can I make outgoing calls from the remote system using the PRI of the host system? I saw a thread (thread940-1397089) that laid out how it might be done, but I couldn't get it to work. The only things i had done differently than the previous post was to change the IP addresses so that they were specific to my networks and to change the incoming and outgoing group id's to something other than 50. When I tried OLG & ILG at 50 it interfered with my ARS which was automatically set at 50.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

yes you can.

Use ARS or Short Codes to send your calls down the IP line Group.

Remember, if the remote system needs something like a 9 to dial out to include that in what is sent over top that system.

Hmmmm. This is the part I'm hung up on. I guess i don't understand how to configure the ARS or write a shortcode to direct my calls out. My IP line is lid 249 but the PRI is lid 1. I've tried using both lid's but i still can't seem to get it, so I'm assuming it's my ARS route/shortcode.

on the remote system you create a code in the ARS like 1N;, dial, Telephone number 91N line 249.once it is sent over the IP trunk then the other system see it like a regular call and sends it out the PRI.
