Can SCN be implemnted with both sites having voicemail....one site will have vmpro, 2nd will have embedded vm.

Thanks in advance.

Jerry

No, you cannot do that.
You can have two VMPro servers but then it should be set as distributed.
But VMPro and embedded makes no sense at all.

Why don't you use centralized voicemail?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

That's how it was sold to the customer.....if the 2 sites were networked and Voice Networking were not checked you would still be able to dial & transfer calls between sites...correct?

Otherwise it seems centralized voicemail is the way to go?

You can do that indeed but then you need to build shortcodes for that.
Centralized is way better and if you do not tell the customer then they will not know if they do not have access to the system :)

Ok, also if Voice Networking were not checked would they have busy lamp functionality across the network and could one site's user be a member of the other sites call gp....or would those features only be active w/SCN.

No, those are SCN functions, you get calls and caller I'd nothing more :)

Thanks for the infomation....much appreciated.
