Hy,

I have another question. We have a very poor IP Trunk.

So the customer only wants to signal names and so on over the SCN Trunk but the voice should go over ISDN. Similar to IGAR on the ACM.

Is that possible?

Yes it is but you needed some programming.
Enable only one channel on the scn.
Then use #extension number for calling.
Program in the ars that it sails the whole number.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

That will not show the internal user name to the person receiving the call though, it will ring as a normal external call :)

True but you can see if the person on the other site is calling or not.
And if it is a person ddi then program it in the directory.

Then what's the point of the SCN link?....am I missing something? :)

He only wants BLF.
we actually have a customer doing this.

Thanks for the replies.

So I created an ars route for the calls if the scn is down. Works fine.

But not if all channels of the scn are busy.

Any ideas how to get the scn busy if all line are busy?

You cannot do that.
That is why you need to use #extension for dialing.
You cannot dial the actual extension.
It is a nasty work around and it is nasty because it needs manual intervention.
