I have 7 sites with IPO 5 running 7.0.23 at each site. All phones are digital. All sites are connected with 10mb fiber using Cisco 2900 routers. All sites are a mesh SCN.

Can someone confirm/point me/white paper/tech tip me some information on proper QOS to setup on the router for the SCN's?? We are getting packet loss and jitter that I want to eliminate.

Currently on each lan internet face I have:
service-policy output qos

My Policy and Class maps are as follows:
class-map match-any sip
match protocol sip
match protocol h323
match protocol rtp

policy-map qos
class sip
priority 1024
class class-default
fair-queue

Don't those devices support auto qos voip ?

No sure what auto qos is....can you elaborate and i'll research that a bit.

It's a command you enter into Cisco routers, they then automatically set up all the required elements for prioritising VoIP traffic :)

1) Unless you have a requirement to remark DSCP, don't
2) use qos DSCP trust on the edge interfaces
3) ensure your devices mark the packets EF for the RTP and DSCP 26 for the signalling
4) apply the traffic profile on the outbound interface

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

When you go to the right vlan then type "voice"
This should do it all.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
