Schuduled task will not run BAT file Help!!

I created a simple bat file

net time \\10.42.104.101 /set /y

I added it as a scheduled task and if fails.

Anyone have an idea why?

Does it work just running it at command prompt?
Was \\10.42.104.101 available when it ran?

Yea it works great from the command prompt.

Have you looked through the properties for the scheduled task for silly mistakes? (i.e. wrong date , or if you using a laptop running on batteries it wont work etc..)

if it's any help -- i scheduled a .cmd file as a scheduled task - run line points to where the .cmd file is located and the start line points to the directory where the .cmd file is located. the task runs as my username (i have administrative rights on my box). how is yours setup?

Have you tried pasting the command directly from task scheduler into run?
This will at least eliminate any typing errors.
