How can I schedule my scan disk and Defragmentation so that everytime I shuts down of Restart it defragment and scan my hard disk.

Your help would be appreciated.

using Group Policy (run gpedit.msc) you can specify shutdown and/or logoff scripts.
Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Scripts
and
User Configuration->Windows Settings->Scripts

create a script that runs scandisk and defrag and place it in one of these areas.

hope that helps!

Control Panel, Scheduled Tasks.

You will see that in the scheduling options for a task there is options to do the Task on startup or on logon.

But I feel compelled to urge you not to so frequently defrag and scan your disk. There really is no need to do this on every startup or shutdown.
