I have created a number of DTS packages to process the cubes. I tried 1 big job but it took ages and didn't complete so I broke it down into smaller packages.

I have a package for the shared dimensions then a package for each cube.

I then wanted to create a job to run each package in turn but I'm struggling with the command for the steps. I tried the help text but that didn't really help.

Has anyone got some example code I could follow to create 1 job to control the reprocessing of my cubes?

Thanks.

Flybridge, there is an "connections icon" available in DTS designer that will let you "Execute a Package". You just select the icon from the "connections" list (same area you select your "to and from" connections. The icon looks like a small yellow package / box with blue arrows. Once you drag the icon into the designer view, you will then be able to set the properties of the icon to select which DTS package you want to run. I use this method for several of the packages I run.

Hope this helps
