Having problem when running vbs or bat scripts via Windows schedule task as any other user other than my login. The task remains in a Running state and doesnt actually execute the script. If run as my login id it works okay but not as any system account or other user. - Server is a windows 2000

Is this script performing a drive mapping operation or accessing a resource that requires rights equivalent to yourself?

No drive mapping done - all scripts do a secure ftp to external servers.

Are the tasks scheduled to run as your login? If so, are you comfortable with changing to administrator or other system account? Do the "other" accounts (such as system or other user) have rights to the script/bat that is scheduled to run?

Did you ever solve this?
Is Secondary Logon service running?
Are there errors in event log or task scheduler log?
