I get this error when I try to schedule a task:

An error has occurred when attempting to set task account information.
The specific error is:
0x80070005: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to perform the requested operation.

I am the only user and administrator on this machine. I have no idea what is causeing this error. Any help is appreciated.

Of course follow Bills advice! My scheduled tasks has always presented that error BUT the tasks have always run and I've added and subtracted a bunch over the years and all I'm interested in is the end result.

gx3.

Sometimes just entering your password again fixes strange problems in Task Scheduler.
