Thought maybe one of you Guru's have come across this -
I have a full backup scheduled nightly at 8:30 PM - All of the sudden , the backup kicks off at 2:30 in the afternoon ??? All the schedule settings are right ,, system clock is right .. time zone is right ,,Im stumped !! Its running on NT 4.0 and version 6.61 of arcserveIT - Their help desk said I need to install the patch before they will investigate -- Not what i wanted to hear !!!
Any Idea's ???

install SP2 first of all. It fixes a LOT of probs in 6.61. Could be something it fixes. Otherwise, it's probably because ArcServeIT is an expensive piece of junk. Monkeylizard

Could it be because you set it for 8:30pm GMT? Sounds like you have some sort of a time zone issue there.

This is to do with american software running in GMT, check your NT location setting in control panel.

Hmm.. That was my first thought but it seems to be set up correctly - Locale is Central (Dallas,Tx) .
It is a bit odd that its running 6 hours early and GMT is -6 hours from Central ..Thats gotta be a clue !?!?

hi there, i am in england. sorry i didn't realize you where in Texas. We have found this issue is timezone related and to do with U.S software running here in England
