Scheduled Sql 7 Backup Database Problem

Hello,
I am having trouble on scheduling a database backup. I am using Enterprise Manager. Once I schedule the backup and close the window,I have noticed that the schedule is not saved.
What could be the problem?

You may need to get into Enterprise Manager and right click on the Management..SQL Server Agent..Jobs folder and choose refresh.
