Hi,

Does anyone know the easiest way to schedule a reboot of a Windows 2000 Server?

TIA

I would use some kind of shutdown program. If you have a windows xp machine nearby you can copy the shutdown.exe file thats in the system32 folder.

Or search the net for shutdown program.

Then schedule it with the task scheduler. To run at a certain time you can usually specify a count down timer.

OK thanks. I've tried shutdown.exe but it doesn't seem to work all the time. I'll see if I can find a third party version of it.
