I want to start a scheduled job to run a DOS batch file every 15 minutes. How do I do this?

Have you tried using the NT Scheduler (Into My Computer, choose Scheduled Tasks)? -----------------------------------------------------

I have tried it and it worked. I didn't realise I could schedule a task to run at intervals throughout the day.

I've put down exactly what I did, as its not completely obvious how to run a batch program at time intervals
Double click on My computer, double click on Scheduled tasks
double click on add scheduled task,
browse to the file you want to run e.g. P:\schedule\test.bat
Select perform this task daily from the options ...next
Time you want it to start 8.00
Select perform this task weekdays ...next
Enter a valid user name and password for the pc ...next
Tick Open advanced properties for this task when I click finish
Click on Schedule Tab, Advanced,
Tick on Repeat Task, Every 15 minutes OK.

This will work while this pc is switched on.

No, it isn't obvious - takes a bit of finding. Glad to hear it is working ok. -----------------------------------------------------
