The only problem with scheduling tasks in Windows is, the when the workbook opens, unless you are running LOW SECURITY, which is hardly ever advisable, somebody has to press a button, unless you use some other process to push the button.
I have an Excel procedure that runs 3 times a day, seven days a week.
1) This workbooks is ALWAYS open.
2) I use the OnTime method to schedule the next run.
That's a pretty simple approch.
