Hi everyone,

I have Windows Server 2003 x64 SP2 with CA Brightstor 15

I have upgrade my BAB 12.5 to the version 15, all my jobs work fine, until I notice that the custom schedule rotation was not working properly.

I have daily jobs for week A and week B, so I can keep 15 days of backup on a NAS, so I have select in the schedule tab the customize for every 14 days skip all days, except the one that I am going to backup.

I have my fisrt job
DLY_Monday_Week_A for December 6
DLY_Monday_Week_B for December 13

Both jobs are finishing with no problem, the problem is that the each job are scheduled for every 14 days, so it supposed to do next jobs on the following dates:

DLY_Monday_Week_A for December 20
DLY_Monday_Week_B for December 27

But it jumps until March 2011 both of them.

So I have to adjust the date again everytime that the jobs finish so it can be done on the date scheduled.

With version 12.5 everything was working with no problems.

Any idea what can be?

Victor

PS. Sorry for my English

No, the A is sent to March the first week and the B is sent to the second week of march

Thanks

Does the A reschedule to the first week of March every time it runs?
Does the B reschedule to the second week of March every time it runs?

Hi, no this is how it goes:

Daily Backup monday thru friday
Day Starts Next Date Goes to
Monday Dec 27 Jan 03 Feb-14
Tuesday Dec 28 Jan 04 Feb-15
and so on with dailys

The column Next Date it supposed to be the next correct date, but instead of it, it goes to the february month

In the case of the weekly backups it goes like this
Weekly starts Next date Goes to
Monday_A Dec 27 Jan 10 Apr 04
Tuesday_A Dec 28 Jan 11 Apr 05
Monday_B Jan 03 Jan 17 Apr 11
Tuesday_B Jan 04 Jan 18 Apr 12

as you can see the next date it starts it goes in the case of the dailys 2 months ahead and with the weeklys 3 months ahead, and it keeps the sequence starting on those dates.

I hope that I explained my self

Thanks

setup a new job as a test, configure it for the same repeat interval to see if it has the same problem and to see if it is related to the specific jobs or the process.
