Is there a to Have a recording come in only after business hours automatically on BCM50 version 3?

I do not want to have auto attendant on 24hrs just one particular recording at a particular time automatically.

yes, set up a night service and set the mode to auto. you can set the time and greeting you would like played.

Thanks RYLSFAN got it working on one BCM tried it on another and cannot get the announcement to kick in no matter what time. The only difference I can see is that that the latter BCM does not have a keycode for voicemail.
Do I need a keycode to use auto attendant in schedule service?

Keycode is only required for extra mailboxes.
You get 2 mailboxes on default 100,102

Check you have intialised the call pilot first.
In otherwords is it set up
can you access it

Yes I can access it. Have compared settings and appear to be the same. The main phone says the service is active but just but attendant does not kick in.

Your night service ring group should point to the Voicemail DN (default 334 rel3).
Your lines should be set to ring this group.

EG Ringgroup 2 member (334)
target line 125 assignrd to Ring group 2
Control extn 221 (DEfAULT)

WHEN 221 PRESSES Feature 871 select NIGHT,ok
service mode is on

When a call comes in on line 125, night service sends call to ring group 2 voicemail DN 334
AA should answer with announcement.

I have night service set to auto for a particular times. Should it still not work that way? The main phone does that the service is active. Will try enabling night service manually and let you know.

It does work when I set it from the phone.

Make sure you have ticked the correct service for AUTO against the night service and set the rest to off if you are not using them

And ...
Make sure all of the lines are configured for the same control set and your schedule start/stop times are correct.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back, but it worked automatically after turning it on from control set. Did not have to do that on other BCM, anyway it worked. Thanx
