Is there a way to get an Access DB to just open up by itself and run at say...2AM M-F?

I have queries tied a 'Form Load' event that runs when it opens.

I'd like to avoid using XP's Task Manager (that's what I use now) as I am tired of re-inputting the password everytime my NT password changes.

When you said you used the Task Manager were you referring to 'Scheduled Tasks'? If not then you might look at that in XP. It's like setting up a CRON in unix. Simple interface found in the Control Panel|Performance and Maintenance|Scheduled Tasks|Add Scheduled Task (wizard)

Hi Fattire,

I would run the task under a user name that has appropriate priveledges but whose password is set to never expire.

Regards,

Peter.
