I'm trying to add an extension to our coordinated dialing plan in LD 87, and when I enter the DSC (the extension in the remote office) I get an error saying that the steering code conflicts with an access code or directory number. When I print out the DN I'm trying to add to the CDP I get SCH0886: Shorter DN number exists. What does this mean exactly? Thanks,

Greg

in ld 20 prt a dnb but just enter the first digit of your ext. number you are wanting. this will let you know if the number you are wanting has already been used. It sounds like you have an access code or something similar already using up your number.

ie if i use 333 for a spree code or acod i can't have exten 3333...
