SCH0375 DN type conflicts with input DN type

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction with this error. Running an option 11c and trying to add a DN(6788) to a 3903 set on TN 15 07. Whenever I try to add it I receive "SCH0375 DN type conflicts with input DN type" and I am not sure where to go from here.

Obviously the switch is telling me that it doesn't like the DN type but I am unsure how to change the type. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

6788 is a DSC as in distant steering code in NARS so it can not be added to a set, you will have to out the DSC before you can add to a set

Thanks for the quick response! Which overlay do i need to be (87?) in to out the DSC and what impact will that have, is it safe to remove it?

yes, 87 is correct. The only effect will be that number wont be routed out where it was routed before as far as I can tell

In LD 87 do a print of the set up, then delete it. If you have the set up and later find you need to have that DSC in there, you have the parameters. Once it is deleted you can add the number as required.

if it is added as a 4 digit number, it will remove it as a dsc, it will work internal instead of external.. distant steering codes are used to send numbers to a tie, usually to another switch..

if the dsc is 67, then remove 67 and put all 100 numbers back except the one you need..

yes ld 87 out 0 cdp dsc 6788.. dial it and print it before you take it out...
