Hi All,

Guys, I need somebody with SCCS-Genesys integration experience.

We've got a customer with Opt11c PABX, SCCS 4.0 SU05S and Genesys 6.5. It's been running okay for more than 1 year and suddenly start to have problems. The customer claimed that nothing has been done on the PABX or the servers (SCCS and Genesys), thus it's quite difficult to isolate.

Here is the description of the problem:
1. The Genesys T-Server received call status "Invalid Application Type" from the SCCS. This is irrespective of the type of the request being made from the Genesys.
2. The problem is still there until we reboot the servers.

Now, we have some reply from the Genesys Tech Support:
This is a switch issue. The "Invalid Application Type" message is an error coming from the link/switch and the cause of this needs to be investigated by Nortel.

Anybody has any experience with SCCS-Genesys Solution?

Hi,

I see the SCCS 4.0 is at SU05S as the current update is SU11S. Did you plan an update yet?

Yes, we have just upgraded the patch to the last one.

Also, from the MLSMTraceFile.txt we found that the t-server is trying to re-register to symposium again without properly releasing its orignal registration. The re-registration failed because the application is still registered with the switch. It then tried to release the existing application and register for another association but also failed. This is because the t-server tried to release a different association id with the original one.

Now we are waiting to get some explanation as to why genesys tried to re-register to symposium while the application is already registered. This is possible if the link is down, but we are still waiting from the genesys people.
