SCCS 5.0: Backup time?

Hi there

On one of my locations, the backup needs sometimes up to three hours for a 72GB db....

How long has your SCCS to backup the db and how much is the sice of the db?

I have one site that has a 21 GB database that takes around 12 minutes to finish a backup. I have another site with a 48GB database that takes 17 minutes for backups. These are both network backups. Are you using network backups or backups to a tape drive. If network, the time will vary depending on where you back it up to. If using a WAN Link, it may be very slow (3 hours).
