Does anyone know what the server OS should be for these systems? Or do they come with a OS License already? If so what OS system do they come with?

Call Pilot 2.02 -- NT 4.0; comes with the system (it is a proprietary version along with the hardware).

SCCS 5.0 -- Windows 2000 Server/2000 Advanced Server
- SCCS 5.0 Feature Pack 1 will also work with Windows 2003 Server

OTM 2.2 -- Windows 2000 Server; if no clients (standalone), then you could also use Windows 2000 Professional or XP.

Thanks, but if I supply the hardware (severs) does OTM and SCCS come with a Microsoft license? Or do I need to order my Servers with the OS loaded?

Typically, if you purchase /provide the servers yourself, you would need to buy the OS license also. Some vendors may provide, but ours doesn't... They are not included w/ OTM and SCCS. -Matt

Also, the SCCS will require a particular drive configuration, so it may be better to load the O/S yourself. If you do order it preloaded, make sure you order the correct drive config & RAID setup, and that you have your software and keycode also in case a reload is required.

Thanks, we just ordered the servers. I think we had to order the OS seperate otherwise it would have been Windows 2003. So we will install the OS with Windows Server 2000. Also, we doubled the recommended RAM and will have dual NIC cards for both SCCS and OTM. SCCS will have RAID 1.

Anyone know if the SCCS server was succeptible to ram 'overages' like the client was before a PEP fixed it? I know the client didn't work on my laptop utnil I got the PEP. Just a thought; I'm sure someone here knows better than I! -M

Not that I have noticed -- I know what you are referring to on the client, though. It does have some trouble with hyperthreading, so watch that.
