Scatter Memvar Issue

Ok this might be a simple solution, but somehow I am overlooking it. Heres the situation -- I use scatter memvar to scatter an empty blank record for use with my screen. My screen then references all the created memory variables. The problem arrises with the numeric memory variables, somehow no matter what my field definition is (Numeric 5 with 2 decimal places) it only allows me to enter on Integer with 2 decimal places (within my screen object). Any suggestions would be wonderfull -- Thanks
