Scanning the same way as printing???
Did somebody try to do this without using an external prog? I mean: you put the document in the scanner, select the field in the database where you want it to pop up, click a control in the form and voilá the document goes to the field. Probably this question denotes my ignorance about how scanners are different to printers, but, don't you think this may be great if it is possible to do? I'm doing a database that needs a lot pages to be scanned.

It must be possible, I have had a go at the same with a digi cam and I seem to remember getting somewhere.

It may be worth posting this question in the Access Modules VBA coding forum as it will need code to do it.
