Flash newbiw...I can't figure out why something simple like this doesn't work. I've imported a jpeg into flash file and applied a motion tween to enlarge it over a span of 60 frames. The frame rate is 20 fps. I should be enough to let flash scale it smoothly. Yet, the image "shimmers." I know it can be done without the shimmering since I've seen other flash clips do the same. Here is the url for reference:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Are you actually scaling the image in your tween. In other words what's the imported size? The tween's start size or the tween's ending? What is it? A .jpg?

Yea, it's an imported jpg. I believe the pic is 214w x 210h, which is its start size as well. It's end size is 115% of that; I used the transform feature.

Hope that helps...

Scaling of pictures in Flash is not very good. You should try that the imported size is the ending size. Scaling down may be better.
