I made a circle, added a radial gradient fill to it. Then I scaled the circle vertically down so that its more eliptical. The problem is the gradient fill remains proportional, it doesn't squash down with the circle. How do I get the gradient fill to scale down non proportionally? Any help appreciated, thank you.

I'm using Corel Draw 10, forgot to mention that.

The gradient fill is radial, not elliptical. If you want the exact properties of a fill - based on an objects outline shape - to carry over, convert it to a mesh fill.

Apply your gradient fill first, then use the mesh fill tool to apply a mesh over your existing gradient fill. You don't have to alter the mesh fill - as long as Corel understands that the fill is related to the position of the object's nodes, it should redraw the fill accordingly.
