Can the MANAGER login be paired down to only make name changes ans reset voivmeil passwords and email addresses ?

you know you can create another log in with less privileges

you would have to go into security settings to do this but you need to have a good understanding of the IP Office. I suggest going to the knowledge base and reading up on this

Ok, i have built my new User login, and password. But can not login. Let me guess..i have to do a reboot so that it can work ?

I am on 9.0.x and i dont think i have ever had to reboot because i created a new user. I have had issues because i didn't sync the security database, so i was able to log into the box i created the new account on but all of the other boxes in my SCN gave me an error.

I saw my mistake, didnt save my security settings. But it looks like i still have access to all fields. Nothing is greyed out or prohibited. I will try building a DID and see what happens.

If you have the right to edit user settings you can edit all of them.

Only way I can think of would be the self admin on R9.1. But you have to do it for every single user then.

If its 9.1 have a look at just giving them (users) self-administration access. Then users can change their display name, etc themseleves.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
