When connecting to Visio from VB6, is it possible to scale the drawings down that are input into the Visio document? i know how to properly posistion them, i just need to know how to make them smaller or bigger.

If x contains a reference to your shape, use the Cells.Result property. For instance to change the width of an object to half width:

x.Cells("width").Result("") = x.Cells("width").Result("") / 2

thanx and that would work with height as well correct? i can find all of the cell names in the help file correct?

If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is there to see it, do all the other trees make fun of it?

Yep, it will work for any property that you can see in the ShapeSheet view of the object. The Cells property just references the cells collection in the ShapeSheet object, so the easiest way to find the cell names is to open the ShapeSheet window when the object is selected in Visio
