SC30 mechanical problem

My SC30 began making a rumbling noise and stripped the tape off the reel in two tapes before I realized what was happening. Upon investigation I discovered that the little rubber tire on the wheel that drives the tape had come apart. I would like to get the drive fixed but I see that Onstream has folded its tent.

Does anyone know where I can get this drive repaired for a reasonable price?

With onstream drives, there isn't really anywhere you can get them repaired, at least that I know of. The company who refurbished ours was MDT (Magnetic Data Texas). You could try getting in touch with them, but the only number I have for them is the Onstream number, and it's disconnected.

Has anyone heard any news on ONSTREAM??
They make an EXCELLENT product at a fair price its a shame for it to evaporate into thin air...

Here's the situation with onstream. They filed for bankrupcy on April 29th. Currently there is no support for it, they used to still have their website up, but it has since been taken down. The reason they went bankrupt is b/c Onstream MST, their sister company, wasn't turning a profit and brought onstream data down with it because Onstream MST actually made the drive heads for onstream data and there was no way to seperate the two companies. A court ordered management official is supervising the restructuring of onstream, and there are investors who are assisting with the restructuring, but there is no date set on when they'll be back in business.
