Does anyone have a copy of customization manager. I would assume that it is in the public domain now or is it still an active part of the current version under SAGE?

I don't think CM is in the public domain yet. It is a module that you can purchase separately. Call you local distributor for more details about.

Pro Series 7 CM (or anything else) is not available for purchase and has not been for quite some time.

SBT/Accpac/Sage will not do anything with you unless you accept highly inflated prices to get completely current on all possible aspects even though you have no need to upgrade.

So, since the company does not sell it and they do not support it, I would assume that the product (Series 7 CM) is now in public domain. Since giving it to someone is not denying the company any revenue what so ever.

I purchased it for Accpac 7.3. By the way, it is not a friendly program I would recommend to other programmers.

You Should be able to purchase CM. Typically you have to pay the "discontinued Product fee" around 20-25%

Talk to your reseller or call Sage directly.

What do you need to change. The reason the customization manager didn't sell all that well is because you don't need it to customize PRO or any other version of SBT/SAGE/ACCPAC.
