We have SBS 2003 Premium Edition.
If we want to upgrade to SBS R2 incl SQL and ISA is it just an upgrade or must we buy the complete new license.
Also i do i detemine how many CAL's we have for SBS.
And to find the current CAL count, you can just use the Licensing thingamajig in the main management MMC/console. You know: Users, Computers, Shares, Licensing, etc.
The SBS wasn't setup properly or at least setup was never finished. So there is no Server Management console.
I busy doing license audit and need to know how many licenses they have. Is the default 5 CALs with a new purchase?
Also what is the SKU: T75-01260 quoted by ShackDaddy
That SKU is the number you need when you are ordering software, to know you are getting the right upgrade kit. Every sellable piece of software has a SKU.
Default is 5 CALs.
To finish setup on that server, you could go into the Add/Remove programs menu and find Windows Small Business Server 2003 and kick off setup again..... although you might not want to do that at this point.
