I have an SBS2003 STD server to migrate to SBS2011 STD. The primary justification for this is email archiving. I don't find much help from Microsoft in learning just what Exchange 2010 (FOR SBS!) does that Exchange 2003 for SBS doesn't do right out of the box. If I'm going to do this migration, I'd like to see what I can expect to have without running out and spending a bunch more on add-on solutions from Microsoft or third parties.
Right now, the majority of desktop clients are Windows XP SP3; there are a few Windows 7 Pro, and even a few Windows 2000 Pro clients that are running just fine with SBS2003. They all run Office 2003 and it works.
But archiving email is a real problem. For some of the clients, a 2GB limit on mailbox sizes is just unworkable and an overall size limit of 75GB on the one and only private store won't really fly if mailbox sizes are increased beyond 2GB anyway since there are 25 clients in play.
Does anyone know the answers to these questions or where to find them?
Thanks,
Wye
